This is probably a very ignorant question to those of you who know what I am talking about. I just started playing NationStates and have searched the boards throroughly trying to find out an answer to this question:

The default setting is to receive a new issue every weekday. Does week day mean every day of the week? Or should I set it to "Every day". Where I come from when you say week day you are usually talking about Mon-Fri so I was just wondering if someone could help me out here because I'd like to receive a new issue each day.

With week day the system indeed means mon-fri. It's a setting for people who don't play (and don't want issues) during the weekend.

This always struck me as kind of odd. Seems to encourage playing from work/school if you ask me.

No, seriously, its just pragmatic. Like drug education. People are gonna do it anyway so why not make it easier for them?
