I've seen people do this when buying stuff, but I haven't a clue how to do it. Anybody care to help me?

it's easy. you "buy stuff" from people on storefront threads and wire the money (based on your national budget)
A few more suggestions when shopping at the storefronts:
:arrow: Stay within a reasonable budget (check this thread (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=95500))
:arrow: Write down everything that you purchase, so you can remember it later (when you want to use it)
:arrow: Use In Charicter (IC) language in the storefronts
"(Your Country Here) would like to purchase 1000 tanks."
:arrow: Total up your order
"(Your Country Here) would like to purchase 1000 tanks for $100 million."
:arrow: Be specific
"(Your Country Here) would like to purchase 1000 BRM-67 tanks for $100 million."
:arrow: Your order should look like this:
Sample Country would like to order Sample Item, for a total of $Sample Amount. This will allow us to Do Sample Action. Payment has been wired. ((or money will be wired upon confirmation of order))
Or, for longer orders, something like this:
Sample Country would like to order:
Sample Number Sample Items for $Sample Amount
Sample Number Sample Items for $Sample Amount
Total order $Sample Total
Money will be wired to you on confirmation of order.
