Issues incompatible with a Capitalist government
Not sure if this should be in technical or issues, so I'm going to post it to both.
Many issues have something to do with government land or the public, but a capitalist country, such as my own, has no government land or public property or anything like that. So with a lot of issues I'm left with no options that pertain to my country and thus have to dismiss countless issues.
It would be nice if the system were a bit more logical when it comes to Capitalist countries. It's almost as though everyone accepts the premise that the government must do *something* other than just being a police man.
Because, the government has to be more than just 'policemen'!
That's beyond capitalist. That borders on anarchy.
Actually, that's, by definition, Laisse Faire Capitalism.
In Laisse Faire, the government exists to serve one purpose: to protect it's citizens from the use of fraud or force via police and military.
Add anything else and it's no longer capitalism, but a bastard child of capitalism and other systems; otherwise known as a mixed economy.

ahhh...Laisse Faire, the perfect government IMO

Agreed. Unfortunately, it's not possible to make a Laisse Faire country in this game.
Laissez Faire was the worst system ever created. Corporations and Capitalists do nothing good for regular people. They only stand to enslave the common worker and steal all the wealth and capital.

Absolutely right, I mean, provoding people with new technology, inventions and jobs has done nothing to further the standard of living for the regular guy.
Everyone knows that, historically, the countries with the most well off populous of regular people have been collectivist countries like: Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, China, Cuba, the Africas, Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, et cetera, and the countries with mass famines, dying peasants and desiese ridden folk have been evil semi-capitalist regimes like America, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore.
Oh wait, that's total bullshit and in fact the standard of living, as well as scientific advancement has been growing at an unprecidented rate all over the world (aside from communist/totalitarian countries) since Capitalism came around.
I doubt you have any idea what Capitalism is. Capitalists do not steal, capitalists. If it were not for capitalists there would be no wealth to speak of. Employees are not enslaved, they are employeed by contractual, *voluntary* agreement and are free to quit at any time. Capitalism explicitly prohibits the initiation of force against any other human being or his property, thus slavery cannot exist in a capitalist governemnt. A capitalist deals with men by *voluntary* trade - a statist deals with men by the use of a gun.
www.capitalism.org/faq for the real story and not your bullshit, left-wing propaganda.

There's no reason to border on anarchy, when you can just jump right in.
I'm hoping my "Privatize the Police?" and "Abolish Speed Limits?" issues will make it through the approval process...

Even though capitalism is the most moral economic system to date since it caters to the needs of the market, which allows a fluctuation in prices rather than fixing a price at something arbitrarily deemed "fair" by the government?

This is not the appropriate forum for a debate of this nature.

More to the point, I'm locking this thread because the debate has moved beyond the point of a reasoned series of points and into abuse from some parties. In Monty Python terms, we seem to have entered the wrong room of the Argument Clinic.
