Just a suggestions.
It would be nice if we were searching for posts by an author that when the post links came up there would be a link to the author's individual posting rather than the topic in general.
Maybe the page links that contain a post from the author could somehow be highlighted?

In the search function, the following radio buttons appear:
Display results as: O Posts O Topics

Select Posts, not Topics.

That still doesn't really solve the problem. If you select the posts option, you see the first n charecters of the post you are looking ofr but if you click the link you still get taken to page 1 of the topic. I wouldn't have thoughht it would take much code to make this a link to the relevent page.
