....if this should go here, but what does 'split thread' mean? I keep seeing this term used everywhere, but don't know what it is about :oops: :?

It's a Mod thing. It's when we take certain posts out of one thread, and create a new thread with them. It's usualy used to remove spam and flames from a thread, or to pull out a worthwhile but off-topic conversation out of a thread.
