As I was checking the latest update on my nation I saw: Income tax is unheard of...

I didn't vote for that, how can I get them back? Or is that just a phase and if so, PLEASE tell me its a very short phase.

As with most attributes of nations, your tax rate will fluxuate. Just be careful to choose options that instill taxes in the future. Keep doing so until you level out at the rate you want, then dismiss the tax-related issue or just make sure the choices you make even out to equal the tax rate you want.

Don't worry, it's not permanent.

As a general rule, to increase taxes make choices that require more government spending (such as increasing welfare or health care). There are no issues that explicitly raise taxes, although a few are there just to decrease them. Be warned: It is much easier to raise your tax rate then to lower it, especially accidentally.

It all depends. My tax rate has been "unheard of" for about 7 months now. Of course, I've intentionally kept it that low...

And my tax rate has been at 100% for months. *shrugs*

well don't worry. i once had tax 100% and now it is 53% so it is some times that they go up and even go down very much. Its only temporary. It somtimes happens.

I've seen both "The average tax rate is 0%" and "the average tax rate is 100% but much higher for the wealthy". I haven't had "unheard of" yet though.

For civil and political rights, "unheard of" sounds to me like lower than "outlawed" because you'd have had to have heard of something in order to outlaw it. Is that right?

Really? My taxes are next to zero, and I find it very easy to lower them, actually.

I'm at "unheard of" right now.

Outlawed is the lowest.

There is a bug in some links to nations where a space is provided between two words of a nation's name. I've had to manually add the %20 to the address. Just a heads up.
