I am not sure if this is a bug or what. but I made private enterprise illegal in my nation but today when I was reading the description it says I favor fortune 500 companies. how can something that doesn't exsist make me favour them? also in the game the word is "defence". I don't know if this is a language thing or not but last time I checked the word is "defense".

Different spellings of Defense/Defence exist in different English-speaking countries. This site was set up by an Australian, so the spelling may seem odd if you are an American.

Basically, the first paragraph has a few pieces of information:
Any permanentt effects you've caused (ie: "Military service is compulsory"), or major effects (ie: "is a barren inhospitible wasteland")
Nation name and population.
A pre-set blurb that is 100% tied to your UN ranking. In your case, I believe that's Corporate Police State (it's that or Compulsory Consumerists, I'm too lazy to check).
The second paragraph has the effects of your issues, and the third paragraph lists the direct "quips" for your last 4 issues (ie: "Citizens are barcoded to keep track of their movenments"), crime levels, plus national animal and currency.

In other words, this is just a contradiction between direct issue effects and pre-set nation descriptors. This is also how Anarchies can be talking about citizens living in fear due to a complete social breakdown which has given rise to biker gangs, while simultaniously having the third paragraph state "Crime is unheard of".

Hmm about the perminant stuff in the top I always choose the enviromentally responsible stuff yet I ususll get the barren inhospitible enviroment one

"My nation is categorized as an Anarchy, but it says I have a huge government!!! WHY?!?!" was the question I was refferring to, but maybe I should get Qaa to generalize the question (the answer still works).

The permanent attributes are based upon the choices we made when we first created our nations and had to answer all of those specific political questions, yes?

when I originally chose that stuff I got Enviromentally stunning and held it until I hit a billion folks since then I have been barren and Inhospitable, just like the crazy old Spinster woman who lives next door

Hmm, that's strange. I guess your people apparently got immeditely "dirtier" when they reached the magic billion number. lol

Or did you take up some uranium mining hobbies?

I created Pope Hope to be an envirnonmental super-power nation (hehe), and luckily she's stayed pretty consistant so far. This is true even though I admit I've done some off-roading uranium mining in the past myself. But just a little bit.

There are a pluthra of really good environmental issues to help out with this right now. Of course, if you choose the pro-environment option it usually dents your economy quite a bit...but hey, that's the price we pay so Loop's barren, inhospitable neighbor lady next door has clean water to drink and healthy air to breathe...
