What are the rules??

Well, it would seem that most rules are commonsense, and so far as cheating goes most rules seem to revolve around common sense UN fraud, flaming, generally abusive behaviour, etc. But where are the rules themselves? Where can I find them and find legalistic gaps in them to exploit and take down entire regions in a single gasp (not that I'd try)?

read the FAQs, the Rules, and the Stickies. Many people have answered this question, for many people have asked it. So why don't you read what they said instead of making us explain it all over again? :P

that reply implies simply that anything that is not in the FAQ is not against the rules. Is that what you mean to say?

Thats why the're FAQ's :P they get asked frequently

Also reading the RULES part of the FAQ is kinda ovious. You might also want to read the Terms and Conditions, you know the ones your supposed to read before creating your nation...

ok, sorry, now that I have enough information to re submit my question:

I have read the FAQ, I have read the terms and conditions page connected from there.

Where is the rules page?

There is no separate rules page. Rules are listed in the FAQ and ToS, and further clarified in the stickies of the Forum. If you have a question about whether something can/may be done, ask.

wow..I felt a little tension here

So did I.

Let's all practice civility and patience, here, and be clear in our explanations please. (Kudos to Ballotonia for this.) SouthAntartica is making a resonable request.

SouthAntartica: Ballotonia is correct.

I think the tension is understandable.

This thread had the unfortunate "luck" of being started in the NationStates forum not long after GMC, Rep, and I got done dealing with a spammer who'd been starting topics in that forum with similar seeming titles.

However, this isn't the same person, so it's all good :)
