Admin Telegrams to New Delegates

I've been wondering for a while.
Would it be possible in the forseeable future to have admin telegrams sent to new delegates encouraging them to reviw proposals on the list?
I suspect that most delegates are entirely unaware of the proposal list.
I know that I found out about it by luck, about two weeks to a month before I became delegate, and then delegate of ZF, Bananapple, did not seen to know about the list.

No, no, no, what I was asking is that the admin send automated telegrams to new delegates informing them of the proposal list and suggesting that they review it.
Not that they ask new delegates to endorse individual poposals. You can read my opinion on this in the UN forum.

a really good idea. especially considering the absolutely ridiculous number of delegates (2000 and some, i believe) and the fact that maybe 30 appear to browse through the proposals without a bit of a push.

I agree, i've had new Delegates ask me about the list amoungst other things, this would certainly raise the interest in the UN again and would hopefully bring about better written proposals.

No delegate wants to get flooded with telegrams over the proposals. When I was a delegate I went in and found the proposals I wanted to approve.
I know. I am a delegate, and I have a sticky in the UN forum explaining that mmost delegate feel this way.
If more delegates knew about the the proposal list then I supspect that we would get fewer telegrams to endorse proposals.

I agree with Qaa, although I found out about the proposal list on May 19, my very first day as DU Delegate (which I subsequently lost to Nova Alaska until mid-June).

Since the almighty [violet] was just on, *bump*
The only thing I can think of that would be a problem with this is that you'd have to have a flag that would determine whether a nation had been a delegate before.
Unless there is one (which I highly doubt), nations would get the telegram every time they became delegate. Might be annoying for some

Oh right, the crashers.
Still, crashing was not intended to be a part of the game and the UN was so. . .

They can live with it. Besides, thats a price I'm willing to pay (as a non-crasher )
I know I browse the proposal list at least once or twice a week, but I don't think most delegates do. This sounds like a good idea.

or or or.... People could actualy read the instuctions and learn how to play the game! That way if they become delegate they know whats expected of them and aren't completly useless!
