Hello. I am Mighty Mountains. Usually Anti-Terror, but I let AMF take care of it for me due to my troublesome grades... well anywayz. Here's my story...


I was posting on a Thread. The all the sudden, I got a major virus from my Anti-Virus machine/software. It was called, NationStates Joke Joke. I got very confused what happened and all of the sudden, my comp froze and a automatic shutdown.

I had to bring it to my computer repair shop, and they told me nothing was wrong. So the next time I went to NS again, and got the same virus. I was very very worried if anyone is stealing private info from me. So again, I brought to a much more advanced computer repair. They told me the NationStates Joke Joke virus was really a Trojan Virus, mixed with the 2000 Y2K bug programs and I had to repair it for 2 days. Since I didnt have any cash, I had to ask my parents for $230.00 cash to pay off the price.

I need help fixing this.

This sould now happen, at least the same likely hood of you getting a virus from the Forums is that same as getting a virus from any other web page. I would recomend seeing if your anti virus software has a "Remove and Repair" option, if it does not, you should get Norton anti-virus, they are extencive and offer a free rpair option.

There's no such thing as a "NationStates virus", and you can't catch any virus from visiting NationStates.net.
