I've seen it on NS2 once

I saw it on UN a while ago.

It's basically a harmless little glitch. Generally indicates moderator action has been taken against a thread or a particular new post =p

Well if I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times upgrade your software to 2.0.6.

2.0.4, is no longer supported and has serious problems with MySQL 4.x.x.

Also The date that appears doesn't actually exist on a *nix system. ;)
