How do i transfer pictures from the web to a thread?
but img in [] brackets and then the site where the photo is then /img in brackets. I learn most the stuff by finding a post where someone does something I want to do like typing in bold or italicsor writing big letters and then click on 'quote.' The quote box contains their naked bbedit code, which is how the tricks are done.

You right click on a picture you want to use, go to its properties and copy the source.
I'd like to point ot this information is available in The Tech FAQ (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=81296) (stickied) a thread listed in Scolo's Big Tech Sticky (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54421) (stickied) and that annoying little BBCode Link (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/faq.php?mode=bbcode) under options on the "Post a Thread/Reply" screen (the one you are at when you are typing). Seriously.....this question is asked WAY TO MUCH for how many places you can find the answer.
