Inconsistent blurb

Right, I can't see this mentioned anywhere else and I've followed all the suggestions in the Announcement, so I suppose I'll just go ahead and post it.

My nation's blurb seems a bit inconsistent:The Constitutional Monarchy of Amaranthine Asphodel is a large, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 40 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The large, pro-business government is mainly concerned with Education, although Social Welfare and Commerce are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 22%. A large private sector is led by the Trout Farming industry, followed by Gambling and Soda Sales.

Okay, I suppose this could be read as outlining the existence of a small government de jure but a large government de facto, but it seems a bit dodgy to me. Has anyone else noticed this??

Perhaps small= just a few people behind the gov't and larger= pervasive in influence?

The blurbs aren't always inconsistent. The first paragraph comes from your nation type, whilst the second comes from how you deal with issues specifically. They don't necessarily match, although they ultimately are derived from the same source

This needs to be added to Qaaol's FAQ

Hrm. Okay I see how it's come to be inconsistent. But I don't see why it should be so. Which is it? Is my government large or small??

A happy medium.

In that case, your government is large. The line about what UN category you are says small, but the line about how big your government is says big. Take the word of the line about government size over the paragraph about UN category ;)
