New Forum for Storefronts?
Storefronts are nice, they add a lot to NS.
But they clutter forums like Int'l Incidents, and time-devalue other threads. Storefronts should have their own forum.

Just because its status quo doesn't mean its the best way.
If there was a new forum for everything that people thought it would be nice to have a new forum for, we'd have 10 times as many forums and would probably have to add an eleventh to discuss which new forums to add.
The status quo isn't always the best way, but there has to be a comprimise. And I think this is a pretty good one

How about creating a thread with links to all storefronts, having it stickied, and having buyers make their orders in the stickied thread?

If you did it in one thread, there would be too much clutter.
Of couse, Klamath had like a dozen storefronts, so perhaps that could be changed.
I like the idea though, but I know that the poor mods would have an even harder time.

I honetly think that the curent system works allright. Besides, you CAN go to the next page, you know.
I would actually like a seperate forum, but I can live with the current situation. Liek barely.

In any event, it's a good idea. NS has WAY too few fora for its needs. I run a site with only 25 registered members and 10 fora and it's a good mix. With hundreds of thousands of registered members and people who post like 100 posts a day, I think we should have a forum for war, one for retail, one for science, one for diplomatic actions, etc. Would make it a lot better and easier to find threads.
Our current system is fine. Everything is covered. All making another forum for that specific reason would do is clog up the forums even more. People would make a storefront just because its there for that one purpose. I know these things, the will personally take the time out of other parts of nationstates to slap one together, even a small one. So now that that reason is gone..
It wont happen.
