Detailed UN data in nationdata XML feed

Is it possible to get more detailed UN data incorporated into the nationdata feed? By this, I primarily refer to endorsement details; nations doing the endorsing and number of endorsements would be nice, or failing this, simply the number of endorsements.

I plan to build a regional analysis feature into my portal, which would provide a breakdown of power distribution within a region, etc etc. I can also envision this would be useful for those who manage offsite pages incorporating the data feeds.

If this isn't possible, for any reason (most notably I can imagine the server load of people parsing through multiple nations, and the use it could be put to by invaders/dictatorial delegates), then this isn't a problem. There are other ways I can do this, but the coding would be more messy, and as I don't particularly like messy coding, I thought I'd make this request first.

I think It's probably unlikely to happen.

Bump this up again in about a week when I'm sane? Ok?

Just to note, the number of Endorsements can be found in the Regioninfo XML Feed, and it's not that difficult to utilise both if necessary...

The number of Delegate endorsements, or everyone's endorsements?

To my knowledge, the number listed in the regioninfo is the delegate's current verified endorsements + 1, in other words: the delegate voting power in the UN. It's not the current number of endorsements received, and doesn't cover any other nation's endorsements.

Just Delegate Endorsements, if I recall.

I am aware of this, but it doesn't help with finding other nations' endorsements

If you include something like this, it will help all the dictator types who try to eject nations who are challenging their delegacies.

That objection was made when I suggested this a while back, but the dedicated dictator usually spots anyone making a challenge anyway.

I'd like to see it, so I hope Salusa has a look at it when he's got more time.

Consider this about a week, and consider this bumped

Of course, whether you're sane or not is another issue entirely

I'm sane enough. Thanks for the reminder.

Erm.. bump?

Apologies for rebumping... if you're busy and don't have time to think about it, or are thinking about it currently, I'll be happy to wait. However, just in case you'd forgotten completely, I thought I'd bring this up again

I do intend to add more data to the XML feed, but not a list of UN endorsements.

Hmm..well, suport for more then one instance of things that can be tied (major industry and funding areas) are my best guess. Not that I'm [violet] and Max Barry in disguise
