Are the clocks going to be changed for daylight savings time?

I remember reading somewhere that because it's based on GMT, that no, they aren't.

Nope. It is in GMT, and of course, there is no daylight savings time there.

The last time they adjusted the clocks on the forums, it killed the entire game for a day. Imagine a day without NS, just so you can have the privilege to ask for another time change in six months.

Its annoying how:

A) Some nations are created on, say October the 30th, but it says they are posted on the the 1st of October. Another thing.

B) I get mixed with EMT and GMT.

Just my view on the first, and the annoying thing about playing a US based game in the UK.

Open

includes/functions.php

Find

[code:1:46d3c8e3de]$board_config['board_timezone'] = $userdata['user_timezone']; [/code:1:46d3c8e3de]

Replace, with

[code:1:46d3c8e3de]$board_config['board_timezone'] = $userdata['user_timezone'] + 1; [/code:1:46d3c8e3de]

Simple fix.

There is no EMT. It's EDT during the mid fall to mid spring, and it's EST the other half of the year.

As I recall, there were good reasons to employ Daylight Saving's Time during the winter, when the idea was first developed. Something to do with saving on candle wax and lantern oil.

Actually, it was WWII.
