When will defunct nation names be released?
This issue has probably been brought up before, but when (if ever) will the names of old, dead nations be released? I know that there are names out there that everyone is drooling for. Anyone know?

Probably never, cause defunct nations can be resurrected and/or became ex-nations posting in these forums...

They are still reserved for a couple of reasons. First off, the mods don't want anybody impersonating someone (even if they left months ago). Also, there is always the possibility that they will want to get resurrected.

Hack said that at the one year mark (now around the corner) they would consider releasing some older ones, so this is quite timely.
The last time that somebody brought it up was almost two months ago if I recall correctly. Let us hope the the mods dont lock it just yet.
um ... excuse me for being thick ... but exactly how do you ressurect dead nations :?:

A long, long time ago it was guessed that they might be released again in a year after deletion. Nothing official.
