Phantom Endorsement?

Ok, I moved to the Pacific, joined the UN, and immediately had an endorsement from Kinky_Boots. Then I got ejected by delegate of the year Francos, and the endorsement followed me. Kinky_Boots doesn't exist or at least when I click the name, it brings me to my nation's page. What's going on?

Kinky_boots must have ceased existing. This will fix itself during the next system update.

Well ya, but he didn't exist when I got his endorsement. In fact, I've never been to the Pacific before today. How could someone who had never endorsed me before, endorse me after they cease to exist?
That's similar to the famous "posting things after your nation is dead". The system is wacked. That's all I think it is.

I've noticed that bug too. What's weirder, it always seems to benefit me.
Endorsements continuing through that bug always follow you, Luna.

Endorsements are only cleared from a nation with the system updates (at least as far as I recall), thus that ghost endorsement will stay with you until the next update. They will not count towards delegacy or anything else.

I've noticed that bug too. What's weirder, it always seems to benefit me.
Not surprising, actually. You've been in the RR for a long time, and so you get a lot of endorsements. When some of these eventually die from inactivity, this 'effect' seems to benefit you more than any newcomers. In reality though, it's an endorsement you're about to lose, so there's no actual benefit.
Luna Amore: endorsements stay with someone even when they move to another region. Might it be possible that Kinky_boots endorsed you in a different region, and then was deleted for rule violations?
