Endorse top5-list
Coders? Let's make a top UN delegate list sorted by number of endorsements received, please.
Another list with the Pacifics on number 1 to 5 :P

I'm guessing this is basically five pacific delegates. They have more endorsements than other regions have nations in them.
No coding necessary...

how about a list with the delegates from player-created regions then?

That's better. Now you're talking

Ok... How about: Europe, Alcatraz, North America, Canada, Anticapitalist Alliance... ? They were the five biggest user-created regions last I checked.
Basically, you shouldn't have to do any special coding for this. Just check the biggest regions. They're listed in the NationStates forum (directory of regions, maintained by Tactical Grace).

europes delegate has around 100 endorsements, which is ironically around the same number that most pacific delegates have :P
mainly because anyone that tries to run against him is run out of the region..

I meant that you could see a top list of any region, eg Pasific's or Suomi's or whatever's top5.
For that you could see who has second most endorsements.
Is there something like that anywhere?

No, there isn't. It would require an enormous amount of bandwidth use for the server Basically, downloading the entire nationlist, then all UN member pages as endorsements are not in the XML feed. That's an insane amount of bandwidth used up. Bad idea, sorry.

I'm planning to try and incorporate this into my NS Portal, using effectively the method that Ballotonia described. However, she does have a point about the bandwidth needed (or rather, the time a small amount of bandwidth would be hogged for), so I may have to consider that. For large regions like the pacifics, we'd be calling for 600 odd nations and handling the endorsements from them.
Still, the processing requirements would be taken off the server

Um...that would make things really easy for tyrannical players...
I know, which is why I've been debating with myself for quite a while whether to add the feature.
As it is, I've put a moratorium on it until Salusa gets back on the possibility of incorporating the number of endorsements into the nation data feed.
