how many times must I apply and be approved yet still get no email despite the fact that the email I provided is accurate? Ive now changed my email and will apply again as soon as it lets me but is it normal to have to wait so bloody long?

It is possible for the email to have been blocked as spam mail. Reapplying and/or using different email addresses should hopefully) resolve the issue.
