could the mods/admin (whoever can create boards on the forum) make a current events board? all general ever is these days is something relating to the news or some form of ethnic
propaganda. I know people will say "but phil! general means anything goes! so they can put current event thingies there if they want!". general is for things like chatting or something like talking about the weather, not "I hate bush" that can go in the current events forum, if admin makes one.
please do

One thing that would probably happen is all the troublemakers would have two forums to spam, and us poor Mods two forums to patrol. Same people, same problems, more browser windows. :x

I don't think we need a new forum, unnecessary work for the mods in my opinion.

Theres already stuff in the other forums that is basically current events. If you want a new topic in there, just put it in. :)

I can think of plenty of people who would gladly accept moddom, and almost a dozen who would actually be good about it. :P

But a larger team of mods leaves more room for conflict

I think the current forum layout is good enough. It's easy to use and suits it's purpose.
