MozillaFirebird v0.7 Crashes When Logging In
MozillaFirebird(available from http://mozilla.org)0.7 crashes whenever I try to login to one of my puppets. Details are available at http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=222829 Although I doubt it's the coding of the site that's directly causing this, just thought I'd let you know. :D

I've used both; I see no difference between Mozilla and Opera if Mozilla has Multizilla installed. Same goes for Firebird with Tab Browser Extensions installed. As a matter of fact, Firebird is marginally faster than both browsers in performance terms, So far, I've worked around this bug by clicking the login button instead of hitting enter like my usual practice.

Mozilla's just basically the same in a way... a lot of features making it overbloated.
Firebird, which is based on Mozilla, is much simpler and a lot faster and easier to use. I have no idea how Opera would even compare to the goodness of Firebird.

Well, first, I refuse to use a browser owned by AOL.
Mozilla is Netscape (Yes, it is. Find a site that does a browser check and see if you can't find Netscape's real name. Hint - it's "Mozilla".) Netscape is owned by AOL. I know, that has nothing to do with the way the software works, but...
Second, speed and size aren't the only features a browser has to offer. Security, flexibility, customizability.. I prefer Opera, frankly. And, as my computer has one Windows hard drive and one Linux (Red Hat, wooo!), I like having a browser that crosses both the platforms. IE doesn't, Netscape/Mozilla does, but it's hideous ugly on Linux.

Actually, Netscape is Mozilla, but Mozilla isn't Netscape. THe Netscape browser is based on the open source Mozilla core, but that doesn't mean Mozilla is owned by AOL. Opera is also based upon the Mozilla core, so by your logic you could say Opera was also owned by AOL.

Hmm. Have you tried with Firebird 0.6.1? I'm using that, no problems for me.
No, I haven't, but since I've found a workaround, it's not really that important to me. I just have to remember to prevent myself from hitting enter twice instead of once. I think this is because they changed the password manager in 0.7.
Oh, yeah, AOL jettisoned Netscape already, so the only vestiges of AOL is in the code of Mozilla, which used to be Netscape, which used to be owned by AOL. In any case, Firebird is completely different from Mozilla which is rather different from Netscape. The underlying code is similar, but growing different over time.
