Perhaps we should get rid of some of the old issues as new ones flood in, so that we see less of the old ones. Unless I am really wierd, (or even if I am) I doubt that I'm the only one sick of  Harry Potter censorship rows  and Nudists wanting time in the sun. We don't have to toss all the old ones, but some, IMHO, are fine to get rid of.
What do you think? Good idea? Bad Idea?

Eventually they'll be swamed, and some of them I find very useful for changing aspects of my nation.

I still like the Defense spending issue

"Should Democracy be Compulsatory?" did me in as I thought that making it compulsatory raised political freedoms ad lowered civil reights, a tradeoff that I was willing to make.
Now I need it to get my political freedoms back though, as I will not allow vote buying or the death penalty and nobody seems to have submittted political freedoms issues. :(
Edit: My first political freedoms issuesubmission got swallowed (Netscape crashed as I was C&Ping it into a text doc before submitting {I only saved the title}) I haven't had time for a second.

Hm. We get up to 60 issues, then throw out the original 30?
Seems kinda silly to me. We'd be stuck with just 30 issues again, and people would complain. Granted, if I never saw Harry Potter again, it would be too soon, but think of a new player. They've got an ever growing pool of issues, and aren't likely to get sick of them any time soon. Besides, as much as I dislike seeing certain issues over and over again, I do like the effects they have on my nation.
I say keep the old ones. After all, right now, Harry Potter has less of a chance coming up, as new issues seemed to be added every day. I mean, Rep, Slag and Menel are going NUTS with those things...

throwing out the orginals makes no sence, then we are back to thirty issues which will get boring after a while I say we retool a few of the old ones a bit at the most but personally say leave them alone some of those are classic.

How about changing Harry Potter to Stephen King or something.
Anne Rice or Poppy Brite would work as well. Just no John Grisham....
*Ducks, as surely at least one Grisham fan haunts these forums*

I dont want to kill all the old issues, but if we continue at this rate, we'll have 90+ issues in a few months. A few months after that, 120, we can get rid of some old ones, or tweak them, or something, to keep stuff from getting out of control.
And then, perhaps I am just a fool. [/jk] 8)
