yes this belongs here.

*Questions about how the game works/figures things out.

I went and read the sticky first like a good lil boy.. lol

Anyhow, two of my posts I wanted to keep are gone, I was searching for them to bump and bring forward so if there was a cleanup of old threads they wouldnt get lost, and the links wouldn't work.

Am I just too late and theres been a deletion of old posts or is this just a temporary bug. And if it's a clean up, is there a way to reverse it so I can get them back, they're reasearch threads I point to when people go "You can't have that" "GodModder" and "How did you get thet Tech?" et al.

This isn't a bug. Once a topic has gone so far back, or reached 70 pages(is that still right?) it is deleted. This helps reduce forum clutter and to conserve space. If you have any other questions feel free to telegram me.

Jennivier is along the right track, but is lightly wrong. The threads aren't deleted, their search entries are. The threads are still there.

If you posted on them, you can click the "View all my threads" link on the Index page and they'll be on there, somewhere...

I've noticed this too so it's a "yes and no" answer.

Jenniver's mention is actually 65 pages for General where if most of the content for that General thread is spam, it gets deleted after 65 pages to save space and stop post whoring.

However, I have a similar problem. Search for author works beautifully for me (I just search for my own username and get all my threads nice and neat).

BUT, if I search for keyterms (say "Adejaani", so I can see the threads where people talk about me and stuff), that's no longer available. Well, newer ones are, but not for older ones. I can still backtrack search them (if I tagged them), but not others.....
