Treeing Issues: An Idea The Mods Are Tossing Around

You guys have submitted a lot of great issues, and opening up the Issue Viewer to the mods has allowed us to put a bit more thought into how the game's issues function. After taking a long, hard look at the validity line (the line that states the conditions of validity for an issue), the mods and [violet] have tossed around the idea of treeing issues.
Several of the issues already in the game have strict prerequisites for reception; the "People Request Not So Much Dictatorship, If That's All Right" issue is the most notable, as it requires very low political freedoms. Many other issues have such prerequisites, and we'd like to see more.
This is where you guys come in, and this is our charge to you: write some issues valid only in specific circumstances. Has your nation outlawed cars? In that case, do businesses complain that workers aren't getting in on time? Are soccer moms upset about not being able to pick up their kids from practice? Another example: are guns outlawed? In that case, does your nation have an influx of pissed-off hunters and other such hobbyists? Any such scenario opens up a whole new world of possibilities for issue creation.
I may create an issue this weekend of this variety to use as an example (provided my wisdom teeth operation goes well...), but for now, I encourage all you issue-writers to try out the fun game of causality... after all, Ol' Slaggy the Issue God's smilin' upon ya if ya do. ;)

I tried writing one only for Anarchies...basically, the gist of it was a choice between trying to establish some form of government or backing off entirely.

that would make the game more dynamic, but you would have to ensure that there were enough issues around for the tree to founction properly. We dont want anyone stuck at the end of a branch :D

Ill try writing a few up, and submitting them, perhaps my Tape Duck one could be tooled for jsut such an ocassion as it is an enviromental issue.
I thought you already did that; like how the drug control one comes only if you legalize marijuana in the original questionaire.
But since you don't, I like the idea. Adds a bit of realism to the game.

The Child labour issue I made is specifically for nations where economical freedoms have reached excessive levels.
An other interesting idea is to make issues valid only for nations with a particular UN category. An issue of mine that's out there is only achievable by Capitalizt nations.

Issues only for nations with a huge population would be a suggestion.
Name: Constructing Sector ask for permission to construct buildings up to the clouds
Description: As a result of the huge population growth, the constructing sector asks the government to build 1 km high buildings to create more homes.
Although that's a very boring issue :x

Well I suppose they go hand in hand since the stats determine the UN category

Well, I just submitted one that's only valid for Left-Wing Utopia, Civil Rights Lovefest, Scandinavian Liberal Paradise, Left-Leaning College State, Liberal Democratic Socialists, New York Times Democracy, Democratic Socialists, Inoffensive Centrist Democracy, Capitalist Paradise, Capitalizt, Anarchy, and Corporate Bordello.
And now I'm realizing that it probably shouldn't be valid for those last four... *smacks self*

I've been meaning to do one for nations that banned cars (I won't post it here so that it is not stolen), but have not gotten around to it.
I think this is great, and could only aid the game. I will try to think about some issues as such.
I just submitted an issue, however as it can go to any nation except ones that are avowedly atheist I don't think it is a branching one.

I have an idea for one to branch off of my issue where you can become Amish, for those who choose option three, how would I make sure you or who ever got to edit it knew to link it to that issue??

I submitted one like that already. :D
I just wrote two that branch off each other, dealing with prohibition.

How about a fitness one for nations that allow nudity? I mean there some bodies that should NOT be seen uncovered.

I like it, I just lost anarchy status but I would like issues that helped me bunker in with it when I got it back, plus it would make the issues more interesting
