I'm new here. It seems that there are countless regions to choose from. I would like to create my own region, as has been done by others (it seems) I just don't know how to do this, or if i can up until a certain point. anyway thanks in advance.

Well, it helps to read the FAQs and stickies before asking questions.
On your (current) region's page, it says "Tired of life in (region name)? Then move to a new region! ". Click "move to a new region". Then click "Create a New Region". Enter a name and a Factbook Entry, then hit "Create Region". You will be in a new region! (by Goobergunchia)
