I mentioned before I gathered a lot of information about real-world GDP, Military Budgets, etc.
It turned out to be too much for a post, so I uploaded it to my freewebs.com site.

Interesting and comprehensive. I partially did some similar research regarding military budget per capita as here in my great big guide to war, especially the second half (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=79665).
This should definitely be stickied or put in a stickied thread as a great resource for those people who dont want to derive numbers from every nation in the CIA world factbook themselves. :D

As it took me about 6 hours (in two sessions) to gather all the information, and about 1.5 hours to put it into HTML-ready form, I'm sure it is a great resource. ;)

I actually put up the page less than a week after promising to, but didn't get the link and this announcement up that night. I had planned to the next day---but that was the day the power went out. For four days!
By the time the power was back, I'd forgotten about the page, the edit, and the announcement. I wasn't reminded until tonight.
