Would it be possible to add a system to the Regions Listing page so that regions can be sorted by things other than name? E.g. by number of nations.
That way, nations looking for a region with 50, 100, 200, etc. inhabitants don't have to spend hours searching.

Not really. The data is not stored in a reasonable format to do this without killing the server.
