Banned IP
Yesterday, while at home I went to log on to NationStates and play my account. However, I could do nothing, because it said my IP had been banned. I can log on fine, while at school, but my home IP seems to be disallowed. I'm wondering if that's either a bug, an error, or some problem I had not noticed?

This is most proberly due to an IP ban on the same subnet as you.
The best idea, would be to wait for a member of senior staff to arrive, and for them to ask for you IP to be send via Private Message to them, were the situation can be checked.
A few questions that would probably be helpful if answered:
1) Do you have networked computers?
(if so it means they probably all have the same IP as far as NS is concerned. Internally they will be different, but odds are any home network will use a NAT router)
2) Does anyone else at your home play nationstates?
(if so, it is possible one of them got banned and you will just have to live with it)
3) If you are a puppet of a nation who got IP banned, don't expect it to be lifted.

I was attempting to login from my home computer. So its a different IP. No one else in my home even comes to the NationStates website. And the nation was Eowarion.
Hmm ... do you know if youur ISP uses static or dynamic addresses? If it is dynamic (or it is static but changes infrequently, like mine does) then it's possible that either the ISP has been banned (someone did something REALLY bad from that ISP) or you got the IP of someone who has been banned. Still assuming you aren't dodging an IP ban yourself.

Eowarian, what I would like you to do is to go to http://www.ipaddress.org from home and write down the IP address given in the text box. Then, telegram it to me next time you log in to your nation.

One of the IPs you log in from was banned because we had a mass UN multi attack from there. IP addresses are often recycled, though, so if this isn't you I can remove the block.
