Ideas through Dreams! (For salusa or [violet])
I had this weird dream last night. I was playing nationsates but the nation spotlight was all cooky. There were all these pictures in it and such. After I woke up, I thought about it for a while and I got this splended Idea!
Just like the rankings for the UN categories were added to the spot light, maybe you could and a line for the ruler of the nations name. I would be like another motto box that would be under the nation name on the spotlight. Example

I think that would kick ass especially with the picture. You could upload one of the avitar packs to choose from or import your own. I dont know how much coding it would be for [violet] but I dont think anyone would disagree when I say thats a damn cool idea.

Although I think its a great idea, I would have to concurr with Cath Euro........find some thing else to dream about man!

Good idea, but think of how it could slow it down. It would be like having another flag to load, and this one would be more complicated. While it's a great idea, perhaps we should just stick to a name for the national leader.

Maybe somebody should start the NationStates Clinic, because some people are getting addicted to this game (and I can understand it, it's not too simple but it's also not too complicated like SimCountry)

Regarding the idea. I like it, but it isn't likely to happen. I do think that the addition of a national leader (as text) would be a good idea, but it would take large amounts of work to incorperate the information into the Nation Spotlight and incorperate the name into issues (as you'd probably want to), and then you have all of the old nations with it blank.
Thus, though a really good idea, I don't see it happening, sorry. (Doesn't mean that I won't mention this up the chain, just not to get your hope up). If you don't hear more from us, this idea is no go.

*Shaking*what!? you think u'm addicted man!? I can go years without NS! *Tries to for a sec* i'm cold...
Try to keep on topic folks, I for one would like to hear more thoughts on this. Who knows? Maybe it'll be good for NS2...?

There's a fine line between NS and NS2. While improvements to NS will probably be made, expect some desired items to be pushed forward to NS2. If not due to their complexity in adding them, then at least to make NS2 more desirable to switch to ;). My guess is that this will be an NS2 item.

Salusa. I'm happy to know that you like the idea. I don't think it would be nessesary to have it in the issues, just the name at least, and maybe the small avitar. I thank you for mentioning it up the chain and if I have anymore dreams, I will be happy to share them with you as you all seem to be enjoying my addiction.
