Alright. I've found these two pages:

Where's the page that details data on the nation such as concentration on defence/education/welfare, and the page that details UN polls?
The only data on concentration on defence etc. sits in the <govtpriority> field. As for the UN data, we don't get to see that
That doesn't produce data for even split countries, however.

Well, we do have the government priority listed already, I don't think that will change. But I do like the idea of including UN Rankings . . . .

Well - the data is obviously somewhere.
But like the regiondata.cgi it's presumably not actually linked ... so I'm wondering where it is. I guess I'll hope [violet] finds time to respond?

regiondata.cgi has been mentioned in the News Posts,
And just because the Data exists on the Database Server doesn't mean its avalible outside of the game pages. The XML Feeds are an extra means of getting the Data that was added later.
As to new Data on the Feeds, I'd personally love to see the Crime rating and a Variable to show if Private Industry is Outlawed or not.
Something like this:

<PRIVIND>0</PRIVIND> (0 for Not Outlawed, 1 for Outlawed)

I'm happy to add almost anything to nationdata.cgi, if people are going to use it. :) I want to support anyone creating external NationStates sites.
UN rankings shouldn't be a problem. Crime could be a little trickier, but I could do it. Ditto Defence, etc.

And a Defence Rating would be cool too, although the Private Industry and Crime are definently on top of my wish list :D

There's something I've been clamoring for for a while... Regional and World UN Rankings please (Along with the actual UN Ranking type (e.g. "Largest Gambling Industry"))! Anything that will keep me from having to parse the HTML of each country in my region searching for the ranks to archive in my database! ^^
I also second the crime and private industry feeds ^^...
Also, maybe, possibly, an education feed?

Thus, you'd only be able to have the Defense ranking when the UN chooses to do it, that is, unless, you can convince [violet] to change the way the system works. What you could get would be absolute measurements, but we don't like giving them out too much as everything is really relative, and knowing the inner workings can take some fun out of the game.

Perfectly alright. The current one is all I would want (I would merely archive old rankings into a database with a date on the last time that rating came up. That way, people can check any rating, even if it is dated)
