Population Control

Is there any way for me to impliment population control, chinese style? Currently the population of my nation is over 1 billion. This seems a bit large for an island in the South Pacific.

Would there be anyway to make this part of the game? Or would it be way too much coding?

justa thought.
thanks.

You have to create an issue about birth control and present it to the mods or to [violet]. Not that anybody here wants it, because most of us think; Bigger is better.

i'd agree that bigger would be better.

but i am in the south pacific, and not in a position in which i could move.

but i'll write up the issue...

You could post a big anouncement telling all that you move into the universe. This way the size of your nation becomes a bit more logical. There is alot of space there

In Europe, for RP sake, we have a 10% population rule. Your actual population is 10% of your NS nation's population. MAkes things much more realistic.

so have an outpost in SP and forage dp into space with half of your population or more. keep your region as SP tho, since the rest of you will be nomadic.

Yeah, you could have a 50% Rebel fraction, fighting you from space

Why can't you move from the SP?

There are plenty of regions (including mine, although we prefer smaller nations, all are most welcome :P ) who would take you.

Ya know, that was my second tech forum question(under my puppet, Nokhcheav).

I had thought that it was a bug.

Because I keep getting voted in as the regional VP. :)

oh yes, I know. my puppets live in a few. Even created one as a homebase for them. Which region are you in?

Submit your issue here (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=submit_issue).

I'm not the one in charge of the coding from these issues, but it seems to me as though it'd be very unlikely that a player-submitted issue (or any sort of issue) could have any effect on the increase of population.
