I had a question concerning the UN categories that are assigned you you.

Some are self explanitory (civil rights lovefest) but some aren't (Scandinavian Liberal Paradise)

I was wondering, what do the more obscure ones mean. I have a scandinavian liberal paradise, my friend has a corporate bordello. I've seen a lot of New York Times Democracies. What do all these mean, specifically?

A Scandinavian Liberal Paradise is just based on countries like Sweden, Norway and Finland which have very liberal, socialist governments. I don't know what a corporate bordello is.

The ONLY graph that shows ALL of the nation types and how they compare to each other in each of the three catagories.

A Corporate Bordello is essentially a Corrupt Dictatorship without the Dictatorship. In other words, a deeply corrupt capitalist democracy.

A Scandinavian Liberal Paradise is obvious to anyone who lives there or nearby. It is based on the politics of the Scandinavian nations - liberal, democratic, more or less pacifist, huge taxation funding a massive welfare state, etc.

A New York Times Democracy is supposedly based on the politics of the famous newspaper. Which are quite hard to pin down.

I have a question regarding 'economic freedom' on this graph. Can you tell me how it is ascertained?

It doesn't appear to be related to a nation's actual economy, so how did you make this decision?

Speaking as a Scandanavian Liberal Democracy with World Benchmark Civil Rights, Frightening Ecomony, Excellent Political Freedoms, and a 24% tax rate.

I think it has something to do with capitalism vs. communism....

speaking as a Scandinavian Liberal Democracy with a 100% tax rate

No, I had to dig through a bunch of ancient threads to find it.

No digging needed. It's part of Scolo's Big Tech Sticky List (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54421).
