What About Them New Issues??
Labrador

We've been patient...we've been good. I have submitted four issues. Never heard a thing. We've gotten maybe three new issues. What's up?
Trying to be patient, but we REALLY need new issues. Badly. Can we get some, please?
Thanks!

[violet] is still working on the interface. Something has come up demanding more of their time at the moment, and they will return to code this as soon as they are able.

Why do refer to[violet] as they?

I would be very happy if I would know whether it still is useful to submit issues or not. I like to contribute something to the game as much as I can but, making a good issue takes time. And if we can't be sure even the best issue is approved then many will no longer make any good issues. Also dear mods do you have an estimated date? Can say about when will this interface be ready? Two weeks a month? Until Christmas, for me it doesn't matter that much if it would take a day or a month I just hope it will finally be there. And I am sure [violet] and the mods will create one I have full trust in them, so should everyone have. Because without them this board would have been yet another Nazi site.

I actually did poke [violet] with a stick this morning regarding this issue. Be patient; it's coming.

Why do refer to[violet] as they?
[violet] is actually a collective of artificial intelligence entities. Some are responsible for upgrading the site, some are responsible for writing books for which Max Barry takes the credit. The aforementioned "something that came up" is actually an internal systems failure that Salusa is trying to fix, right now.

If Cog ever becomes a Game Mod, we're in trouble.

Oh, right, that reminds me. . .
Cog for GM!!!
(Actually, although I am serious, I suspect that It'll be a while before he becomes GM)

I actually think Cog would make a good GM. But unlike FMs (who have to get a GM to change their titles for them), GMs can change their custom titles at will...

Cool, imagine having a Mod who toasts nations and delivers quality one-liners while he's at it! ;)

ON TOPIC: Something other than the mod interface?

You do understand that although [violet] may be a collective (Reploid was ambigous when I asked her naturally), it would be one of humans right?
I assume that you do, bt on NS one never can tell.

Yes I don't actually think [violet] is a collective of AIs :) ,I also don't think [violet] is a collective at all although its possible....then again in some of those topics asking who [violet] is(I meant the real ones asked by new ppl not the [violet] =Max Barry one) some of the mods said [violet] is Max's codemonkey,so I don't think shes a collective or Max Barry either.

Thanks for the update, Salusa...don't mean to be a pain in the posterior, and I certainly appreciate this site...but an occasional update on this subject is nice!

Labrador: No problem, I understand.
Also, regarding my use of "their/they" to refer to [violet]. As you may or not be aware, in all but the most formal English, "they" is acceptable as both the third person plural and the third person neuter singular. Thus, by referring to [violet] in that way, I leave not only the quantity ambiguous, but (more importantly for anyone who may believe [violet] to be an individual) also the gender ambiguous.

P.S. If you are a prescriptive grammarian claiming this to be wrong, I really don't want to hear it. I've debated this far too many times.
