How about a simple note pad?

I think it would benefit us greatly if we could have a notepad stored on our nation.

It would be convinient to have your nation states related notes stored on your nation, that way you can access them from any other computer.

An alternative would be to set up a off-site forum for your region using something like EZboard or Invisionfree and then PM yourself.

Invisionfree also has a notepad function of it's own for each user, if I remember correctly.

Call me old-fashioned, but I literally use Notepad! I have a load of .txt files stored along with miscellaneous images, etc in a folder I have set aside for such things. It suits me fine.

I meant I store text in Notepad files, and images as image files, in a dedicated folder.

Yeah, I use notepad too, but it would be much more convinient to have an on sight notepad because I'm not always at home, actually, I'm rarely at home, that way notes that I make could follow my nation around wherever I access it from.

Cogitation: That funny, seriously. We'll Ive used Invisionboard and PHPBB2 (I don't know about EZboard, so excuse my ignorance, please) before and theyre not easy to use. They require you use an SQL database, and I don't think you can get that with free webhosting from geocities or whatever other company you can get free hosting from. Anyhow, I suppose you could store your notes off-site, but I just thought it would be nice and convinient to have alittle notepad right next to your nation, that way you can check anytime. I doubt it would take up too much space, or slow down the server, no more than half the (15) telegram storage does. Oh well, I could be wrong, I tried, to say the least.

On the off chance adding my support has some meaningful affect....

I would like to see the notepad feature implemented. Nothing complex, just a little bullet list, or text area. Doesn't need to be particularly big or showy, just enough for little reminders like "Vote yes on..." or "Draft proposal with...".

Telegram yourself either to or from a puppet. I've done that several times to save important telegrams.

Or, use a real notepad. You know, those things made of paper? :P

Yahoo has a notepad feature. Sign up for email with them and you also get notepad, address book and calendar that you can access from anywhere.

Am I sad or what? When doing my rounds, I really do take notes in a paper notepad.

avidgamers.com is a good forum board, too. Thats what I have.

The only problem: You can't PM yourself.

The solution: You can make a forum only you are allowed to access, if you know how, and you can cut, copy, and post for your eyes only. And images work!

Good idea. I do that for weeks now. It really works :)
