My idea is that we need different categories for the three main timelines of RP: Past RP, Modern RP, and Space RP. Since it is currently all in one section, it can often get very confusing. Due to lack of identifying a topic as a past, modern, or space RP a lot of mix-ups can occur. Some may assume that newly invented technology that would be way too powerful for modern RP is meant for space RP, whereas the nation posting that intended it for modern RP. Of course a modern nation could also end up not having a clue that they are getting caught up within a space RP until they start getting bombarded by space ships with giant laser beams.

My proposal is simply changing International Incidents into three forums labelled as International Incidents (Past RP), International Incidents (Modern RP), and International Incidents (Space RP).

I am sure this idea was floated only a couple of days ago. The consensus was in the negative, as such categorisations do not suit many nations.

Indeed. For example, say we have a nation that RPs just a little bit ahead of modern times, with somehwta advanced space tech. They can still end up in a fourm with all kinds of uber-advanced battleships and the like. It works best the way it is now. Besides, think of the memory. Fourms are slow as it is.

This idea is floated once every few weeks or so. ;) The consensus was that it would hurt the already paining forum, as Cs said.

Topics are updated every few seconds. I wouldn't really call that slow.

This is posted on almost a weekly basis. We have concluded each week not to implement this. I do not forsee this decision changing in the immediate future. Thus, this is hereby being locked.
