This might help. It will calculate your nation's annual budget, and its military budget.

I advise caution with that. It is very poorly designed. The designer was so busy figuring out small issues like the effect of civil rights, that thy overlooked major ones like tax rate and the public sector.

Well, I believe there are exhaustive explanations in NS/II Forum stickies, but if someone just wants a basic idea without spending the night with a notepad and calculator . . .

Meh, each to their own.

Yah don't need a calc as long as ya don't number crunch.

Actually, it might be easiest if you simply use the GDP calc for its primary purpose: to calculate your GDP. Once you've done that, you can figure out your own national budget - via tax calculations and the like.

GDP is a poor economic indicater anyway; if you want to really understand your nations economic capability, then look up the index known as the 'Countries Future Index'. CFI is probably the best measure of economic success - I'll edit in a link (in this post), once I find one, with details.

But the link given above is the basic reference point for purchasing nations, weapons, etc.

The budget is miscalcuated. The GDP is not.

Yes it is.

I come in 497th in the world for largest public sector, but that is not taken into account.

For military size I know there is.

I have a copy.

Very nice, though I haven't needed it yet.
