You must have more endorsements than any other UN member nation in your region.

Your region only contains two nations: your nation and a nation not in the UN. It is impossible for you to become Delegate until a second UN nation moves into your region.

On the off chance that you don't know what a multi is:
A multi is an NS user who operates multiple nations in the UN. This is against the rules and will result in the deletion of your nation.

Now you have two UN members in your region.

Endorse the other.

At worst he gets delegate status and can endorse proposals and has an extra vote in the UN.

At best he endorses you and you, being the senior member acquire UN delegate stautus.

Also, begin recruiting for your region and take the pw off.

It took me months, but I am now delegate of my region.

What does being delegate of your region really mean you can do?

Depends on the region. If it as a founder, he/she might have blocked the delegate's access to the rgional controls, meaning you cannot eject nations, change the WFE or set a password. However, a delegate will always be able to do the UN stuff, which is all about supporting proposals and region-voting on resolutions.

If the Founder has denied you access to Regional Control, your activities will be limited to approving UN Proposals and voting for or against UN Resolutions. When you have voted on a Resolution, you will have the number of votes you command displayed in a box, for example Player [7]. This is your one vote plus those of all the nations which have endorsed you, in the example I have given, 6 endorsements. You vote on their behalf. Thus it may be wise to seek their opinions prior to voting on any Resolution.

If the Founder has granted you access to Regional Control, or if there is no Founder, in which case your access as UN Delegate is automatic, you can also alter the Factbook Entry, implement password protection, change the password, remove password protection, eject and ban nations, remove nations from the ban list (otherwise any ejected nation can never re-enter), and . . . that's about it.

Regional Control can be accessed by clicking the "Enter Regional Control" link which will appear above the UN ranking table on your region page. Only the Founder and a UN Delegate granted access to it will see the link.
