How to prevent spamming:

Most people here spam because they want to have a greater number of posts.

So then, why don't we just remove the option to see how many posts have been written by x user? Such thing exists in the Europe forum and spammers stopped their activities (except one nation...)

You should consider doing so.

You know, that actually makes sense.

You know, that actually makes sense.

No it doesn´t. Last time I checked, the majority here are adults, or at least over 13 yo!

You are going off topic. The discussion is about the majority of spammers not the majority of players.

It makes sense.

I only wanna say that the majority of the players are old enough to know better. And I like the player ranks connected to the number of posts.

The occasional General Forum spam thread purge remedies this problem. Many of the top 100 nations by post count have each had hundreds or thousands of posts deleted, once a suitable period of time had passed. The present system works OK, retrospectively, yes, but it is fair. Having said that, serious instances of spamming are usually swiftly dealt with.
