Zaeris

I was elected Regional Delegate... how do I change the World Factbook Entry for that region? Thank you.

Click on "Access Regional Control", assuming of course that the Founder has enabled it.

If the Founder has not enabled it, you will not see the link at all. Actually, a pretty good security arrangement, because region crashers will be unable to grief if successful in seizing Delegacy.

I can see regional control even though the founder has disabled Delegate access and is in the region.

You see I am the founder.

I wouldn't worry about regional control anywhen.

Your region seems very unstable.

I have checked, and no, Delegate access to Regional Control is not enabled. So you cannot change the Factbook Entry, nor eject anyone.

I don't see why. Zaeris asked a perfectly valid question.

He don't need to post the question here. He just have to ask it to Bushness, because he/she is the founder, and might have just barred acces for a reason.

Zaeris probably didn't realize that the Founder had barred access.

How?

The region data feed doesn't reveal this.

I was going to say that this is bad, but first I decide to test it. I tried it on another region of mine, Sumatra, and fortunately, it didn't work.

It worked for me. You are passworded and Regional Controls are denied to the Delegate, right?

But yes, I am thinking this might be a good thing for the Admin to get rid of.

You mean Sumatra right?

That is right, I was saying that I could not edit Sumatra's settings from Qaaolchoura. I'd have to log back into Acehenese Republic in order to change it and hence it posses no threat of being a tool for griefers and crashers.

Edit:ed because I can not bear to look at two(then another within the edit) glaring typos when I can help it.

I can imagine it would be useful for them to check whether Regional Controls are denied to the Delegate. Often, griefers waste their time attacking such regions. Potentially, this tool allows them to narrow their focus on the most vulnerable ones even further. But I guess nothing can be done about that.

Yes I am aware of this, however I have not found any reason for this to be changed from the current situation.

And funny. Aparently Kandarin can eject nations.

I presume that they go right back into the RR if thet work at all.

That's weird. But maybe he sees a greyed-out box and can't actually select anyone.

Ah, maybe.

It would be ironic if the form looks more functional for us then for the delegate of the RR.

Changing a Regional Fact listing is not greifing. Greifing is illegal. Changing regional message is not illegal. I know this is a small mistake, but it seems all the time that people are falsely listing what is greifing and what is not.

No, but it is all or nothing with regioanl control, so if founder enables it the delegate can ban members.
