Cannot confirm UN Membership

13-09-2003, 15:25
Hi. My application for UN Membership was approved and a telegram was sent to tell me to confirm the membership. I have a yahoo.co.uk address, and no email was received after a day. Following the descriptions, I reapplied to be a UN Member under a hotmail account. Anyone faced this provlem before? Will my method work? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Yahoo and Hotmail are notorious for blocking automated confirmation messages as spam, so you will not receive them. You should use an account at another ISP, if possible pop3 rather than webmail.

Sometimes it takes a while to get there. Just wait a bit.

I used yahoo.com and I didn't have a problem getting into the UN.

Excite.com did have problems, though.

I've received messages from NS at both hotmail and yahoo. Reapplying was the right move.

Wait a couple of days. Yahoo works, it's just slow.

To get in the U.N., you have to put your e-mail adress in the settings option. Then you must apply and if they want you, you have to check your e-mail. If you have the letter, open the link to your nation.
