How do I become a Regional Delegate?

11-09-2003, 20:46
I know this is in the FAQ, but I can't figure out how I become a delegate now that I've got my endorsement; which buttons do I press? Or do I need something else?

Sorry for asking, I'm sure it's a really simple and obvious answer, bo respect to ya.

When you have more endorsements than anyone else in the region you become delegate. Wait for the NS update for your delegate powers to be installed. You'll find yourself delegate by tomorrow.

Ah, but remember that the Region Founder may have turned off delegate powers. If this happens, you can't boot anyone, password protect the region or update the world-factbook.

Thanks. As far as I know, no one else has been endorsed in my region so it's just the time delay.

Uh, you do appear to be the Founder, so there is no real reason for you to worry about becoming a Delegate unless you wish to participate in UN voting. As Founder, you have permanent access to Regional Controls even if you leave the region, so if you are worried about the security of your region, the best thing to do is deny UN Delegates access to Regional Controls. You will find this ability in Regional Controls.

To become a delegate, you must join the U.N., and move to a region that has U.N. members. once you get the most endorsements, you can become a delegate! But if you apply two nations that both belong to you to the U.N., they can be deleted!
