Yes, I'm absolutely SURE this has been suggested, but I doubt it, so instead of just uploading tons of pics and whatnot, why not have an "either or" sysmte, where you can either upload a small file, or link to a pic on the web. this way you CAN have large size pics and not slow down the server in the least. Ambar (www.ambar.coldfirestudios.com) works this way with the Empire pictures, as seen by 14:1 Knights of Solamnia which has a very nice pic even if I happen to be emperor of the empire....

also, this one I'm also sure has been suggested- Pics for regions. again you can use the same thing as above. just ideas.

Not a bad idea. As a regional founder, I could put up a flag for my region which represents it.

I assume that you are talking about national flags with the possibility of being extended to regional flags (if that's ever implemented). Correct?

Regional flags is a good idea, and seems do-able. It has been suggested before, but for the life of me I can't remember where that discussion ended up with. Not with us having regional flags now though :-/

The hyperlink idea has been considered as well, but there are some issues with that. It's much more work than one might imagine, as it's prone to severe abuse.

still aren't you simply making it so that what you see in that space is whatever the hyperlink represents? can't you just make a 1 by 1 excel box thingy (I can't remember what its called) in which goes some kind of programming entailing "display image represented by this hyperlink", and either another field allowing you to control the proportions, or just have a set proportions to figure the image to.

agrh!!! sorry about that! my connection got REALLY messed up and I forgot in my hitting multiple times of the Submit button that even if the connection is REALLY unGODLY slow, the second you hit it its doomed to be posted....

A system for a regional UN delegate (if empowered) or founder to administer on the regional controls just like a normal nation with a 109x71 GIF would be adequate.
