just a small question. why cant i use the name of a deleted/deceased nation as the name of a new nation i wish to create? its not exactly like they're using it.
can anyone tell me why this is?
Probably because they are too lazy to actually delete the name: they just put a flag on the database that marks it as "deceased."
Anyone could take the name of a deceased nation whom had been very popular and respected on the forums and pretend to be that person.

that makes sense,but perhaps the mods shud put something after the newly-created-nation-taking-a-deceased's-name so as not to confuse ppl (make sense?) like put a little symbol after the nation name to signify it as a previously use name

Impersonation would become a problem. You would be plagued by new Marathons and Klamaths and such. While I am sure most of us will not do anything so annoying, there are some n00bs who will... :roll:
