A Forum just for Flaming!

I believe NationStates would greatly benefit from a Flamer's forum. As the mods have recently cracked down on anything they deem is "Flaming," it has made things a little less fun, and people don't have anywhere to just vent anymore.
It would be good to have a forum where people could vent their frustrations, complain about things, or just act like idiots for a while to get that aggression out. It could be called "Flame On: The place to complain and vent frustrations." There would be certain rules in the forum, to keep it PG13, but people would have the ability to complain about their "stupid" enemies, and rant and rave al they want without the Mods having to whack them or any such nasty thing.
This would fix a lot of the problem with the more overbearing players, and would provide a good laugh for the Mods to watch everyone rant and rave.
i think flaming is a good part of messageboards, and i like your idea even if the mods dont
Well I don't know if its a good idea, but the gamepro forums have a "Flame Wars" section

Flaming is a waste of bandwidth and results in worthless threads being bumped at the expense of more civilised discussion. I would like to see a lot less flaming in the General Forum, but do not believe that a dedicated forum would move the problem elsewhere. It is likely that the novelty would wear off very quickly. Besides, creating a new forum is a lot to ask of the admin just to satisfy the needs of players who want to spend most of their time here trading insults.
And I disagree with the claim that the Moderators have cracked down on flaming - on the contrary, they have stated on numerous occasions that they do not have the time to deal with any but the most obvious abuses. From what I can see, the flamers currently have the run of the General Forum.

This idea has been kicked around a bunch, and currently there is no intention of creating a forum for this.

I agree. It seems as if its always the same people who flame continuously, yet they still exist as a nation? Maybe I misunderstood the rules here on N.S. I was under the impression that if you used profantity or flamed then you would be deleted? I mean how many times can someone get away with flaming, cursing ect.... before becoming an ex-nation?

It's not how many times they do it, it's how many time mods see it or it gets reported on the getting help page. Just making a general complaint in a thread doesn't help the problem at all.
hee hee... maybe i should give it a chance, eh?

Well, actually it produces allot of new words for the forumcensor. I am oposed to flaming, but it is a great way to expand the wordlist of the censor. I use it on 1 of my own forum sites. The only problem is that my father is administrating it :x

Yeah, but that's more of a "flame the Mods" forum than just a free-for-all
