I think Normacking may refer to the practice of making lots of tiny posts which contribute very little or nothing to the discussion, often little comments tacked onto other people's posts. This would originate from Normack, a member of the forum royalty, who clocked up over 11,000 posts in a very short space of time before a spam thread cull reduced his total to less than 7,000.

Klamathing is basically flaming and just being mean to other nations.

Klamathing is when you go mad and post inflammatory spam topics all over the board, usually more than one at once in every forum. It's named for Klamath, who famously did this for a very long time before he was deleted (t'was back in the old days afore we had so many mods to clean that sort of crap up).

And AFAIK, yes, Normacking is posting things like "+1 post!" It's essentially being a post whore.

I know reputations are hard to live down, and for all I know, Norm is proud of this title.. but I still think it's a bit rude. Maybe I'm just to sensitive. :?

Yeah kind of......I thought Normack was proud of his title though, from this one thread I saw when he was talking about it with NEE or someone...

I think he may be, but I also think it sets a bad example. I think Siro at least told Norm that he was using that term in the stickied thread, so that doesn't bother me so much. I just wonder how people would feel if this kind of thing happened to them. Not everyone has the same kind of self-depricating humor that Norm has. Most people would be humiliated by something like this. Besides, when someone reforms, shouldn't we forgive them for their past?
