Cthonic City News- The Temple of Hellenic Renewal, a Neo-Pagan group that holds the largest amount of worshipers in New Lakedaimonia has opened "The Office of Cultural Renewal and Purification".
In a statement to the press, Hierophant Zenos said "Everyone knows that the history of the West was influenced by the genius and grandeur of us Hellenes. Over the past century, the monothesists have introduced doctrines that have resulted in the degeneration of Western culture, moral weakness and social decay.
The Duocracy of the two Kings of the Throne of Hercules has graciously decided to allow The Temple of Hellenic Renewal to begin ferreting out those who spread monotheistic atheism. The Office of Cultural Renewal and Purification has been tasked with the removal of these atheists from our Hellenic country and to stop the spread of these monotheistic atheistic heresies.
Henceforth, by order of The Office of Cultural Renewal and Purification, the following monotheistic atheistic religions are banned: Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Since all three of therese heresies deny the existence of the Gods, we consider them to be cesspools of atheism, impiety, moral decay and anarchy. By the power invested to us, through the Ephors and the Duocracy of the Throne of Hercules, we forthwith order all of these impious, atheistic heretics to leave the United States of New Lakedaimonia immediately, or risk imprisonment.
Let it also be known that for now on, all public feasts, parades and holidays dedicated to the glorifiction of the Gods are to be attended by all citizens of New Lakedaimonia. Anyone who attempts to skip out on such celebrations, denies the existence of the Gods or refuses to offer the appropriate sacrafices to the Gods will be fined and possibly imprisoned.
Agents of the Office of Cultural Renewal and Purification, working hand in hand with the National Watch (New Lakedaimonia's Internal Security Agency) will uncover these heretics, atheists and impious un believers and anarchists and punish them as they so richly deserve.
