Today, The High Council of Sports and Recreation of Tyrrin recognized footballer Lothair Willem as TFA Player of the Year. This is the fourth year in a row that the accomplished athelete has won this prestigious award. Willem scored 129 goals this season for his club, Tyrrin Royale. At 25, he is already one of the greatest strikers that Tyrrinian football has ever seen. Willem's skills will be tested in the upcoming World Cup, in which Tyrrin is entering for the first time.
From his stoppage time goal against Racaw to win the Tyrrinian Cup, to his spectacular strike made while sliding out of bounds from forty yards out against Mertag, Wilsen has proved that he is a force to be respected and feared. It remains to be seen whether he will get the same respect in the World Cup, where play like his is the norm, as the level of admiration he gets from a home crowd in Tyrrin.
