It's time once again for the AIDBCA World Tour. In the eighth edition, will defending champion Legion of the Red Shield pull off unprecedented back-to-back championships and become the first corps ever to win three? Will former powerhouse Zwangzug bounce back to reappear among the upper echelon? Only the random number gods and your roleplaying can tell!
Yes, that's right: new in World Tour VIII, we finally have RP bonus! RPs will be given a rating from 1-10, and that number will be given to the scorinator to expand the higher end of the maximum possible score increase the next night. For fairness's sake I will not be giving myself a RP bonus.
Now, what do you need to do to sign up? First of all, read the Tour Rules and Performance Rules (the former are of actual, practical importance; the latter are mostly of RP importance) at http://wikistates.outwardhosting.com/wiki/AIDBCA_World_Tour_Tour_Rules and http://wikistates.outwardhosting.com/wiki/AIDBCA_World_Tour_Performance_Rules, and if you're new to the tour you may want to read the main tour page (http://wikistates.outwardhosting.com/wiki/AIDBCA_World_Tour) as well.
The World Tour VIII wiki page is at http://wikistates.outwardhosting.com/wiki/AIDBCA World Tour VIII
Then, pick the corps you want to send (maximum three, as per the tour rules) and provide the following information for each corps:
Corps name
Corps home city
Show title and description
Ranking of the five general captions (Auxiliary, Battery Percussion, Bugles, Marching & Maneuvering, Sideline Percussion) in order from the strongest to the weakest captions for the particular corps
You will also need to provide a list of stadiums to be used for the tour; you will need to give a number equal to twice the number of corps you are entering. One stadium per corps, which must be located in the same city or reasonably close to its corps' home city, will be designated the corps' home show and will definitely be used; the remainders may be used if we need more venues to fulfill the requirements after giving each corps a home show.
If you have any questions, just ask! Last time we had thirteen corps entered; let's see if we can get that number up!
