In the Name of Her Most Radiant Majesty, Lady-Empress Alessa Annirere, we are pleased to announce the conditions which we benevolently require foreigners to meet in order to enter the borders of the Radiant Empire. Remember that a visa is a requirement, must be obtained from an embassy or consulate and approved a month prior to travel, and will not be granted at port of entrance.
General Guidelines
In order to obtain a visa, you must have a citizen or company as a sponsor. The hotel where you expect to spend most of your time (for tourists) or the corporation you are working for (business) will be expected to supply said sponsorship, however a private citizen is also acceptable, should you find one willing to act as sponsor.
Diplomatic visas must be accredited to the Palace. Her Majesty's Government formally acts as the sponsor for all ambassadors to the Angelic Court.
Tourist Visas
A tourist visa grants you access to the Divine Imperium for a period of up to six (6) months, with a potential for three extensions of up to 1 (one) month from the original visa expiration date, should your sponsor agree to permit an extension.
What you need to get a visa:
A completed itinerary detailing where you expect to stay each and every night of your trip. (Should you change your itinerary owing to an emergency or other matter, you must advise the Traveler's Assistance Bureau at the Main Headquarters of any police unit. Depending on itinerary change, you may be required to visit in person. Call first.)
An Application Fee, which will vary depending on the number of individuals in your party.
A completed form 76A22 (Application for permission to enter the Empire), in triplicate.
Proof that you will be able to pay your expenses within the Empire.
A fully paid ticket that will take you from the Empire, to someplace that is not the Empire. You will not be permitted to stay beyond the final extension of your sponsorship and visa.
Two photographs for each member of your party.
Business Visas
As above, except instead of an itinerary, you will need to demonstrate proof of continued employment.
A working visa will last between 6 months and 3 years.
Should employment by your sponsoring company be terminated for any reason, you are expected to advise the Ministry of Labor, the Colonial and Foreign Office, and your local police unit. You might be eligible for a transfer to a tourist visa for the full extent of the 6 months tourist visa.
Should you feel termination was unjust, you may apply for reinstatement of contract or payment of a lump sum equal to payment for half the time your contract would have continued had you not been terminated. Contact the local civil magistracy. Should you not be able to afford a lawyer, one will be assigned at the court's discretion.
Diplomatic Visa
Ambassadors must be accredited to Her Majesty, and are required to attend to the palace within a week of taking up posting. Ambassadors are entitled to a set sized diplomatic bag which will not be checked by security.
The Empire does not recognize diplomatic immunity for capital crimes. However, rather than apply local punishments, they will expel ambassadors guilty of all but the most heinous of offenses.
Religious Workers
Proselytizing is forbidden in the Empire, and no religious visas will be given. Foreigners may hold services for their own religions in their houses, or in chapels in hotel rooms in groups of no more than 20. Handing out religious material, or travel to the empire as a missionary, is punishable by imprisonment.
Note: Any autonomous nonbiological intelligences that are not hardwired for obedience to organic life will be destroyed at port of entry, and their owners will not be compensated. Any nobiological mechanical intelligences that are hardwired for obedience to organic life will be shut down and kept in storage until their owners claim them on departure.
The Colonial and Foreign Office reminds all foreigners that the creation or possession of nonbiological intelligence is against Temple Law II.
Note: The Empire abides by all international standards on necromancy. The creation of undead entities is punishable by death. Being an undead entity is punishable by having your unholy existence as a parody of all that is true in the universe ended.
Further details are available on request.
